ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry issued a notification – extending Pakistan Rangers’ powers by 90 days – on Monday.
The powers have been extended – under the Anti-Terrorism Act – in Karachi division on the provincial government’s request and will come in effect from October 18.
The ministry’s spokesman said that the matter was settled amicably and through mutual coordination ‘this time’.
